Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, to use the Services. You must also be able to form a binding agreement with us and not be barred from using the Services under applicable law.

Some features, such as running and submitting queries, require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods secure, and not share your account with others. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at amlanmohanty.info@gmail.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

The practice platform is provided for educational purposes to help you prepare for data interviews. Questions, datasets, explanations and grading are provided as-is. Grading is automated and may occasionally be incomplete or incorrect. We may add, change or remove questions and features at any time.

Datasets, documents and other content on the Services are created by Data Career School for educational purposes. They are not provided by, and do not represent the data, documents or policies of, any company named on the Services. A dataset may name real works or products, such as a film or television title, in order to make a scenario concrete; those names identify only the works themselves. Every figure in our datasets is created by Data Career School, and any resemblance to the real figures, people or policies of a business is coincidental.

You may use a Data Labs project's datasets for that project and include them, with your own work, in a public portfolio repo that credits Data Career School. You may not sell the datasets or republish them as a standalone collection.

Questions labeled with a company name, such as "Google SQL Interview Question", and Data Labs projects set at a named company are written by Data Career School to reflect the kinds of questions and business problems that company may work on or use in its interviews. They are not provided by, obtained from or confirmed by that company, and we make no claim that any company has asked, or will ask, a particular question or faced a particular scenario.

Data Career School is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any company named on the Services. Company names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify those companies.

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape or bulk download questions, datasets, explanations or answers, or republish them elsewhere, except as section 3 allows for Data Labs projects.
• Get around sign-in, usage limits, paid features or other access controls, or help others do so.
• Use bots or other automated means to access or use the Services.
• Interfere with, disrupt or place an unreasonable load on the Services.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your connection with anyone.
• Post anything abusive, harassing, hateful, misleading or spam, or anything you do not have the right to share.
• Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful or fraudulent purpose.

The Services and their content, including questions, datasets, explanations, text, graphics and design, are owned by Data Career School or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use them for your own non-commercial learning.

You are welcome to share a question you have solved, your own solution and a link back to the question on social media, including with the share tools we provide.

The queries you write and the posts you create about your work remain yours. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the Services without any obligation to you.

When you post in a discussion or post a Data Labs solution, you give us permission to display that post or link, with your name and profile picture, to other learners on the Services. We may remove posts that break these Terms, and you can edit or delete your own posts at any time.

A Data Labs project you publish on the Services, and anything you post about it, may also be displayed publicly in our project gallery, credited to you with your name and profile picture, and may be featured by us on the Services or on our social channels. You can take your project out of the gallery at any time from the project itself, or ask us to remove it at amlanmohanty.info@gmail.com. Comments and upvotes on projects are subject to section 5, and we may remove or hide anything that breaks these Terms.

Most interview questions and Data Labs are free. Premium is a paid subscription that unlocks Premium questions, the datasets of Premium labs and, once available, AI project grading. Current prices and what Premium includes are shown on our Premium page. We decide which content is part of Premium and may change it over time.

Premium is sold by Data Career School. Payments are processed by Razorpay, our payment provider, which handles the transaction; we never see or store your card or UPI details. Prices are in Indian rupees and include any taxes that apply.

Premium renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. You authorise that recurring payment when you subscribe, and your bank or card provider may ask you to approve it. You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription in your account menu, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. If a renewal payment fails, Premium ends when the paid period does. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.

Enrollment in our career accelerator program is governed by separate terms and fees provided during admission.

We work hard to help you build skills and prepare for interviews, but we do not guarantee any particular result, including interview invitations, job offers, salary or career outcomes.

The Services link to or include content and services from third parties, such as Google, LinkedIn, YouTube and Spotify. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Data Career School will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, opportunities, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the Services, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify and hold Data Career School harmless from any claims, losses or expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

You may stop using the Services and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if we need to protect the Services or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, give notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India, except where the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
